Confessions of a Muslim MOMma-holic began as a blog written by a stay-at-home Muslim mom about… well… staying at home! It stemmed from one Muslim mother’s struggle to de-program her ‘working girl’ mentality and come to terms with the label of ‘stay at home’.
Her mantra is: An ordinary mom trying to raise EXTRAordinary kids! Something we can all relate to in our efforts to raise our children, right?
In her blog she talks about her homeschooling experiences, interesting and pertinent topics on marriage – such as being a good listener, and time to start appreciating the good thing in front of her (i.e. the husband!) – and parenting thoughts, such as the need to slow down with her children.
There are so many great ideas in here, such as her Good Deed Jar where she rewards them with non-materialistic things like quality time together, a calendar for the first 10 days of Dhul Hijja, and the activities she did with some friends to make a mini-Hajj for their children!
All in all, a great blog to check out! Happy reading y’all 🙂
P.S. She’s actually more active on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Confessions-of-a-Muslim-MOMma-holic/116451925057915
